The University of Akron School of Law will hold its 88th Commencement Ceremony at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 13 at E.J. Thomas Performing Arts Hall. The 2012 UA School of Law commencement speaker will be Chief Judge Solomon Oliver, Jr.

The University of Akron School of Law Alumni Association will hold its annual Alumni Awards and Class Reunion Dinner at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 11 in the Student Union Ballroom. The honorees were chosen for their achievements in the legal profession and their communities.

Judge Paul Redmond Michel Joins Center for Intellectual Property Law and Technology Advisory Council
Akron, Ohio, April 9, 2012 - The Center for Intellectual Property Law and Technology is pleased to announce the addition of Judge Paul Redmond Michel to the Intellectual Property Advisory Council.

The event is being put on by the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF), an organization that advocates humane treatment of animals and promotes progressive animal-related laws inOhio.
