The BCAS Student Success Message Toolkit is a weekly message toolkit with a slide for each week of the semester that features a message promoting some aspect of student engagement and success.
- This is an initiative as part of the BCAS Strengthening Student Success & Engagement priority.

Week 2: Sept. 2-6
Campus Safety
Communicate with students about campus safety resources
Messages Include:
- Check out the resources for creating a safer campus and community.
- Register for Z-alert to be the first to know.
- See it. Report it. Get rewarded.
- Call Campus Patrol for a safe escort across campus.

Week 3: Sept. 9-13
Thrive in the Classroom
Communicate with students about BCAS resources that will help maximize success
Messages Include:
- Tutoring services include tutor.com, eTurtoring through OhioLink, and convenient tutoring centers on campus.
- If you are eligible for accommodations, reach out to Accessibility Services to ensure your needs are being met.
- Visit the Academic Achievement Programs office to see if you qualify for any of the distinct programs that might help enhance your success.
- Join the online Institute Speaker Series to listen to Dr. Meranda Roberts discuss the colonial history of collecting and exhibiting Native American cultural items.
- Check out the Study Abroad Fair.

Week 4: Sept 16-20
You Belong
Communicate with students about ways they can find their own sense of belonging.
Messages Include:
- Participate in the Conversation Partner Speed Friending event through English language Institute.
- Join LGBTUA or pride in STEMM.
- Visit the Office of Multicultural Development to find resources for success.
- First Gen? Meet other first-generation students and faculty.
- Follow BCAS on social media.
- Join a student organization.
- Celebrate National Voter Registration Day on September by registering to vote in the Student Union International Lounge from 10am-4pm.
