Biography

Dr. Baysal joined UA in 2021.  He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cukurova University in Adana, Turkey.  Dr. Baysal received his Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY.

Prior to arriving at UA, Dr. Baysal served as STEM Coordinator, Acting Chair, Department Chair, and Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Technology and Computer-Aided Design Technology Programs at SUNY Morrisville, Morrisville, NY.  While at Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY, he was a Research Scholar, Research/Teaching/Graduate Assistant, and Visiting Scholar.

Dr. Baysal's Industrial Experience includes the following: Manufacturing Training Institute, SUNY Morrisville; Mechanical Design Engineer at Emerald Equipment Systems, Liverpool, NY; Expert and Test Engineer at Cukurova University, Adana, Turkey; Intern Engineer at New Holland Tractor Factory, Ankara, Turkey.
